I aim to tutor maths at primary school levels. My lessons are designed to be interactive, engaging, and fully tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style. I believe that building a strong foundation in maths starts with clear, step-by-step explanations and plenty of practice. To keep students motivated and interested, I incorporate fun activities and real-life examples, making sure learning feels relevant and enjoyable.

I have experience tutoring my peers at school as well as my younger sister, which has helped me develop patience and effective communication skills for explaining tricky concepts in simple, understandable ways. This experience has taught me how to adapt my teaching approach depending on the student’s pace and preferred learning style. I strive to create a calm and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing any difficulties they might have.

Each lesson usually begins with a quick review of previous topics to reinforce learning, followed by focused work on a new concept or skill. I make sure to include plenty of practice time, so students can apply what they’ve learned and build their confidence. I also offer help with homework, preparation for upcoming tests, and support in areas where students may feel less confident.

I have applied for my DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check to ensure the highest standards of safety and professionalism in my tutoring. I am committed to supporting young learners on their journey to not only improve their maths skills but also develop a positive attitude toward the subject, helping them build confidence and achieve success.
