My lessons are designed to help students truly understand the material—not just memorise it. I focus on building intuition and problem-solving skills, encouraging students to think independently and develop confidence in their own reasoning. Rather than simply giving answers, I guide students through the process: asking questions, breaking problems into manageable parts, and helping them discover the logic behind each step. This way, they learn to trust their own thinking and apply concepts flexibly in different situations.
Lessons are usually structured around a key topic or a set of problems the student wants to tackle. We start by identifying what they already know and what feels unclear. From there, I tailor the session in real-time, adjusting the level of support depending on how they’re progressing. If a student is stuck, I’ll step in with prompts, analogies, or visual explanations to unlock understanding. If they’re doing well, I’ll challenge them to go deeper or approach the question from a new angle.
My background is in engineering and applied mathematics, and I’ve worked with students from GCSE up to university level. I’ve helped students prepare for exams, improve coursework, and develop study habits that actually work. I bring patience, curiosity, and a problem-solving mindset to every session. Whether you're struggling or aiming for top grades, I’ll help you become a more independent and confident learner—because the goal isn’t just to pass the test, but to really get it.
