As an auditor with over three years of professional experience, I bring a strong background in mathematics, problem-solving, and analytical thinking into my teaching. My lessons are designed to be interactive, engaging, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I understand that every learner approaches maths differently, so I adapt my methods to ensure concepts are clear, practical, and easy to understand.
A typical lesson begins with a quick recap of previously covered material to reinforce knowledge and build confidence. I then introduce new topics step by step, breaking them down into manageable parts with plenty of worked examples. I encourage students to ask questions throughout, as I believe that active participation is the key to truly understanding mathematics. Once the core idea is explained, I provide practice exercises that gradually increase in difficulty, helping students to apply their learning in real time.
I also make a conscious effort to connect maths to real-world applications, drawing on my auditing and finance experience to show how mathematical concepts are used in practical settings. This not only makes learning more relatable but also helps students appreciate the value of maths beyond exams.
My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable tackling challenges, learning from mistakes, and developing problem-solving skills that extend beyond the classroom. Whether preparing for exams, improving grades, or simply gaining confidence in maths, I aim to make lessons productive, enjoyable, and rewarding.
