Zainab Akinshipo

Hello there! I am a Special Educational Needs (SEN) therapist and educator with experience supporting children who learn differently or require additional guidance to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. My lessons are designed to be highly individualized, structured, and engaging, ensuring each child receives support that meets their unique learning needs. I incorporate visual aids, hands-on activities, simplified instructions, and step-by-step teaching to help students stay focused and build confidence.

My sessions often blend academic skills with functional life skills, social communication, and behavior support strategies. I also use elements of sign language to aid understanding and enhance communication, especially for children with limited verbal expression. Each lesson begins with a brief warm-up, followed by targeted skill-building activities and a short reflection to reinforce learning.

With patience, creativity, and a child-centered approach, I aim to create a safe and supportive learning environment where every learner can make meaningful progress at their own pace. My goal is to help each child feel understood, encouraged, and capable of success.
