I teach through first of all demonstrating how a concept works, explaining it step by step and then asking my student to repeat what steps I did. Then I would give them a similar question and ask them to repeat my steps and explain why they did those steps.

If successful I will provide more questions in increasing difficulty. Once done we will review what questions they struggled on and which they succeeded on.

From there I will provide support where needed. Finally once I feel comfortable with their level pf accomplishments I will provide homework of the topic that we just covered to be reviewed next lesson. The next lesson I intend on doing a mini base quiz on the questions from last lesson and then moving onto a new topic.

Every 6 lessons I intend on doing a review test to make sure all skills I taught are being maintained and not forgotten.
