I have acted as an official tutor for my school during my A-levels and even helped my peers study as a student myself, so I am accustomed to communicating easily with learners in a friendly and straightforward way. I can give proper lessons on a topic, introducing it by relating it to more fundamental ideas while using simple (personally made) exercises that naturally get more complex as the student acclimates to what has been established, always being happy to answer any questions. I am willing to deliver the lesson using a variety of software, based on whatever the learner feels comfortable with, but I find using platforms such as Microsoft Teams particularly effective as they have tools that allow me to draw and visually depict concepts through graphs and pictures. Even if learners have any specific queries relating to certain applications of a subject, such as an exercise in their coursebook, they can send it to me (e.g. forwarding a screenshot of the page they have trouble understanding) so that I can review it and prepare detailed elaborations on whatever the student seems to be struggling in before or during the class. I will be available on weekends and willing to record my sessions with the learner in case they ever want to revise what we covered in their own time. The learner can follow a simple preset weekly schedule or email me (at least a week in advance though, as it would take time to arrange the next session) if they would like to change the date and/or time of the lessons based on their circumstances. Above all else, my classes are a place to learn and be engaged, so I hope to make the experience enjoyable and beneficial for anyone who is taking them. The first class that I offer is free, so students can feel welcome to try out a lesson with me and see if they believe that I am the right tutor for them.
