What my lessons are like: 

I design my lessons to be structured, engaging, and highly focused on exam success. Because I am currently sitting exams myself, I know exactly what it feels like to face a difficult paper, and I know that standard classroom teaching doesn't always work for everyone. 

Lesson Format & Dynamics:
Every student is different, so we always work at a pace that suits you. A typical 60-minute lesson follows a clear, effective structure: 

* The Retrieval Warm-Up (5–10 mins): We start with a quick, low-stakes quiz on previous topics to build confidence and make sure the knowledge is actually sticking.
* Interactive Concept Breakdown (20 mins): We tackle the core topic of the day. I use digital whiteboard tools, diagrams, and simplified analogies to break down complex ideas into manageable steps.
* Guided Practice (15 mins): We work through examples together, step-by-step, identifying common pitfalls and shortcuts.
* Independent Exam Application (15 mins): We put the knowledge to the test using real, past GCSE/exam board questions. I don't just teach the theory—I teach you exactly how to unlock the mark scheme to get maximum marks.

My Experience & Approach:
As a high-achieving sixth-form student, my biggest advantage is that my knowledge of the current GCSE and KS3 curriculum is completely fresh. I sat these exact exams recently and achieved top grades, meaning I know the exact exam specs, the trickiest topics, and the revision techniques that actually work. 

My lessons are a supportive, stress-free space where there are no silly questions. My goal is to build your academic confidence, turn your weak spots into strengths, and help you get the grades you are capable of!

As for my qualifications, I achieved grades 8-9 in all eleven of my GCSEs, including Maths, Triple Science, English Literature and Language, Religious Studies, Sociology, and History.
