My goal as a maths tutor is to help students realise that everyone can do maths with the right guidance, practice, and confidence. I create a friendly, supportive, and patient learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, because that’s how real learning happens.

Every lesson is tailored to the individual student. I begin by identifying their strengths and the topics they find challenging, then create a plan that helps them make steady progress. Rather than simply giving answers, I explain concepts step by step so students understand the reasoning behind each method. This helps build confidence and encourages independent problem-solving.

My lessons are suitable for primary, GCSE and A-level students, whether they need help keeping up with schoolwork, preparing for exams, or aiming for higher grades. I use worked examples, practice questions, and exam-style problems to reinforce understanding, while regularly reviewing previous topics to ensure knowledge is retained.

Having recently completed my A-levels, I understand the challenges students face and can explain difficult concepts in a clear and relatable way. I know how important it is to stay motivated, especially when a topic feels difficult, and I’m committed to helping students develop a positive mindset towards maths.

Lessons are available online or in person in London, depending on what works best for the student. My aim is not only to improve grades but also to help students become more confident, resilient learners who believe in their own abilities. With patience, encouragement, and consistent practice, every student has the potential to succeed, and I look forward to helping them achieve their goals.
