I have taught for over three years and developed effective teaching strategies to improve grades fast. I have had much positive feedback from students and parents in regards to my teaching style.

I prefer “eyes-up” learning, where I use an interactive whiteboard to demonstrate to students exactly what I mean, targeting both visual and auditory learners. I save all notes made in an easy to understand format and share them with the students so they can review them at any time. In my own academic journey, I have wasted endless hours writing up my own notes that could have been better spent on exam practice. I am here to make your child’s life easier and more efficient!

This is not to say that I “do all the work” for my students as I include exam practice, pop quizzes and various methods to keep their brains active throughout the lesson.

My students find lessons enjoyable and I try to be personalised and interactive, always incorporating the students’ wishes as a priority!
I always keep an open channel of communication with parents by providing lesson reports, feedback and homework.
Learning becomes so much easier when you can find even a small bit of fun within it which is why I tailor my methods to fit each student and bring them out of their shell.
I have taught all age ranges of varying ability from those who need a little more support with the curriculum to those who want to push themselves beyond their specification.

Regardless of your child’s needs, I will continually review their progress and confidence through informal diagnostic testing.

My goal is not just to get your child to pass a subject, it is to send them away with key skills they can apply to all education and build confident learners!
