Yuxin Lin

Nihao! My name is Yuxin. Last year, I graduated with a master’s degree from the University of Leeds. I have been teaching Chinese since my undergraduate years and have experience working with learners of different ages and backgrounds.


I 'm working in UK secondary schools, supporting students in classroom learning and providing academic assistance. In addition, I have experience as a teaching assistant at a Chinese school, where I supported Chinese language lessons and helped students develop their listening, speaking, and reading skills.

I accepting lessons in person in Manchester, as well as online! With over 4 years of teaching experience, I offer fun, personalized lessons tailored to your goals. Let’s make learning Mandarin enjoyable!

My courses are not too professional and do not need too much pressure, the format of our class is more like chat. Just simply learn some spoken and handwriting in any topics. As long as you are interested in Chinese or Chinese culture, you can come to me.

I have taught both children and adults, adapting lessons to suit different learning goals, including everyday communication, school support, and confidence building in spoken Chinese. I believe effective language learning should be structured, engaging, and tailored to each learner’s needs, and I look forward to supporting you on your Chinese learning journey:)
