??Mandarin for Young Children (Ages 2–5)

For little learners, Mandarin is introduced naturally through play, stories, songs, picture books and everyday interactions.

There's no pressure to sit still or follow formal lessons. Instead, I follow each child's interests and create opportunities for them to hear, understand and gradually use Mandarin in a relaxed environment.

??Mandarin for Children (Ages 5–14)

For school-age children, I combine engaging activities with more structured language learning, depending on their level and goals.

Lessons can include:
- Speaking, listening and pronunciation
- Chinese character recognition and early reading
- Storytelling, drawing and interactive activities
- Chinese culture, festivals and traditional stories
- YCT and HSK preparation, where appropriate

I aim to make lessons enjoyable while helping children gradually build their confidence and independence in Mandarin.

I offer two lesson formats depending on how much preparation and structure you're looking for:

??Guided Mandarin Practice

Flexible, student-led sessions focusing on conversation, pronunciation, reading, homework support or learning through everyday activities.

These sessions follow your interests and immediate learning needs, without additional customised lesson preparation.

One-to-one: £30/hour
Two students: £45/hour (total)

??Personalised Mandarin Lessons

Structured lessons designed around your level, interests and learning goals.

These include advance lesson planning, tailored activities and learning materials, as well as ongoing feedback to support your progress.

One-to-one: £40/hour
Two students: £60/hour (total)

Minimum Booking
Regular in-person lessons have a minimum booking of 1.5 hours per visit.

For younger children, sessions can include play, stories and short breaks to suit their age and attention span.

??Online Lessons

£22–£35/hour, depending on the lesson content and preparation required.
Personalised online lessons include basic digital learning materials. All fees will be confirmed before booking.

Trial Sessions

Free 30-minute online introductory session
45-minute in-person trial: £20

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Please give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
Rescheduling is subject to mutual availability. If something unexpected comes up, please let me know as soon as possible.
