Yijing Ren

Hello! I am a native Mandarin speaker and currently studying MSc Applied Linguistics at the University of Glasgow. I have teaching experience and a strong interest in language learning and cross-cultural communication.

I offer Chinese lessons for beginners, school students and adults who would like to improve their speaking confidence, pronunciation and understanding of Chinese culture. My lessons can be delivered online or in person in Glasgow.

My teaching style is friendly, patient and interactive. I design lessons according to each student’s level and learning goals, focusing on practical communication and building confidence step by step. Whether you want to learn basic conversation, improve pronunciation, or understand Chinese culture, I will support you in a relaxed and encouraging learning environment.
