I teach Maths, Chemistry and Physics all at a GCSE and A-Level standard. My lessons are about making sense of what you’re learning. We don’t just skim topics to tick boxes. Instead, we go deeper, breaking down each concept until it’s not only clear, but interesting. I teach Maths, Chemistry and Physics all at a GCSE and A-Level standard. My lessons are about making sense of what you’re learning. We don’t just skim topics to tick boxes. Instead, we go deeper, breaking down each concept until it’s not only clear, but interesting. I’ll often pause to ask you, “Why do you think that works?” or “Can you explain it in your own words?”—because if you can teach it, you own it.
Yes, we’ll still tackle tricky exam-style questions, but only once you’ve got the skills to handle them. I’d rather spend 10 minutes helping you understand a concept properly than rush through 5 past paper questions without depth. This, in my experience as a 4A* predicted student is the most effective way of understanding and learning.
Furthermore, I wish to inspire my students to find their passion whilst consolidating and solidifying their scientific knowledge. By incorporating real-world examples into my lessons—discussing subjects like satellite orbits with circular motion, fluid dynamics and gas laws in engineering, or how logarithms appear in nature and Chemistry, I hope that my teaching will allow students to pursue their interests beyond their academic needs, starting their own passion projects or in-depth research as I have loved doing.
By the end of each lesson, you’ll feel clearer, more confident, and maybe even a bit excited to keep learning. That’s the energy I bring, and that’s what I want you to leave with every time. I hope that my lessons will inspire you to dive deeper into STEM, and maybe kickstart your first ever individual project!
