Yenn Lee

I am currently a first-year LLB Law student at King’s College London. I achieved 2 A*s and 2 As at A Levels for Economics, Mathematics, English Literature, and History.
English has always been my primary language, and I have developed strong written and spoken communication skills from a young age. Growing up in Singapore and moving to England three years ago to complete my A Levels have broaden my perspective, giving me a global outlook and a strong sense of adaptability. Through interacting with people from a wide range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds, I empathise with the challenges that language barriers can create. As English is such a widely used and valuable language, I am passionate about helping others develop confidence and proficiency in it.

My lessons are such that I will practice having English conversations of different topics each week. For each topic, I will prepare a list of commonly used phrases that will allow the student to use in any conversation. If there are any topics that the student needs to improve on or that the student requires greater proficiency in, I will also adapt my teaching plan to suit their needs. For written skills, I will prepare worksheets for the student to complete and go through it with them each week.

I am patient, adaptable, and hardworking. I understand that every student learns differently, and I am committed to tailoring my teaching approach to suit each individual's needs, abilities, and learning goals. My strong academic background, combined with my enthusiasm for communication and education, would enable me to support students effectively in their language-learning journey.
