Yelim Kang

Hello, my name is Yerim and I am a native Korean speaker from South Korea currently living in London.

I am passionate about communication, culture, and helping people gain confidence when learning a new language. While Korean is my native language, I also understand the challenges that come with learning and using a foreign language every day, as I am currently experiencing life abroad myself.

My professional background includes several years of experience in customer service, hospitality, venue operations, and education-related environments. I have worked with people of all ages and backgrounds, including experience as an assistant instructor for middle school students. Through these roles, I developed strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to adapt to different learning and personality styles.

My lessons are mainly aimed at beginner and intermediate learners who want to improve their Korean for travel, daily conversations, Korean culture, K-dramas, K-pop, study, or personal interest. I believe that learning a language should be practical, enjoyable, and relevant to each student’s goals.

Every lesson is personalised according to the student’s level and learning objectives. I focus on real-life Korean, pronunciation, useful vocabulary, everyday expressions, listening skills, and natural conversation practice. I want students to feel comfortable speaking Korean without worrying about making mistakes.

I strive to create a friendly, supportive, and relaxed learning environment where students can progress step by step and build confidence naturally.
