Yasmin Sooby

Hello, my name is Yasmin and I am available to teach students GCSE, A level and degree Economics.

I have a PhD in Economics, a degree from Cambridge and experience lecturing University of London Economics courses, where I increased the passrates in every subject I taught. I have previously worked in HM Treasury in the UK, giving me practical experience of economics as well as tuition and academic experience.

All of this experience will come together for me to create a personalised tuition plan for you. I will focus on the areas you need support with, using a range of teaching methods to support you, including role-playing, case studies, video presentation and discussion questions to deepen understanding of complex concepts.

I know that each student is an individual and that success comes from adapting teaching concepts and theories around your strengths. As such, I prepare each lesson on an individual basis. Having taught students from all over the world, with a range of experiences, understanding and syllabi, I know this is the best way to get the right result for each student.

Success is a joint endeavour and I will work with you to understand what success means for you. I am invested in each of my students and want to work with them to achieve their own goals.
