Yaseen Bhamjee

I have tuitioned students in primary and secondary school, with all students achieving their desired grade or higher. I have also taught in primary school for 3 weeks as part of a scheme called student associate scheme, which was organised by my university.

I have a mathematics degree, and achieved a 1st class honors. I have amazing knowledge and very high passion for maths, and want to share this with others, and help students succeed. When I mention I studied maths, people usually raise their eyebrows in shock. I would like more people to get into maths, and change this perception.

My teaching style is usually using the material provided by the student. After the first few lessons, I can bring in some further material and examples to help the student further. I can explain problems in many different ways, and provide my own examples as well.

I have had excellent feedback in my past tuitioning, where I have also been told that I am very patient with the student, and make sure the student understands what I am explaining. I have also had great feedback to say my lessons are exciting, and keeps the students engaged through the whole lesson.

My tuitioning is for primary and secondary school children, but I am also willing to teach A-Level maths, but would need to prepare before hand.

I can provide 1 or 2 hour block lessons, and I provide lessons most weekdays between 5pm - 9pm, and on Saturdays 11am- 8pm.
