Yang Zhang

I hold a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Manchester and have a strong academic background in both microeconomics and macroeconomics. My lessons are structured, exam-focused and tailored to each student’s individual goals.
I specialise in helping A-level students develop a clear conceptual understanding of economic models and diagrams, ensuring they understand the logic behind the theory rather than simply memorising content. I then guide students through exam-style questions step by step, focusing on analytical chains of reasoning and high-quality evaluation — the key to achieving top grades.
A major part of my teaching focuses on exam technique: structuring 10, 15 and 25 mark answers, integrating diagrams effectively, and developing balanced evaluation. Many students lose marks not because they lack knowledge, but because they do not know how to present their answers strategically.
My lessons are interactive, supportive and results-driven. I aim to build confidence, improve exam performance, and help students achieve measurable progress.
