I design my Chinese lessons to be practical, structured, and tailored to each student’s goals. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to improve fluency, every lesson follows a clear progression while staying flexible to your needs.
A typical lesson includes three parts:
First, we review key points from the previous session to reinforce memory and build consistency. Then, we focus on new content—this could be vocabulary, sentence structures, pronunciation (especially tones), or real-life conversation topics. Finally, we apply what you’ve learned through speaking practice, role-play, or personalised exercises so you can actively use the language, not just understand it.
My teaching approach focuses on communication and clarity. As a trained interpreter, I am skilled at explaining complex language points in a simple and logical way, helping you understand not just what to say, but how and why. I also adapt my teaching style depending on your learning preferences—whether you prefer structured guidance, conversation-based learning, or a mix of both.
I provide customised materials, clear notes after lessons, and optional practice tasks to support your progress between sessions. My goal is to help you build confidence, speak naturally, and see real improvement over time.
Lessons are friendly, engaging, and supportive—I create a space where you feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.
