About me

My career began as a teaching assistant, and I have obtained the CELT-P (Certificate in English Language Teaching – Primary) qualification. I became interested in pursuing opportunities related to Mandarin instruction and subsequently began working as a part-time Chinese teacher.

My career began as a teaching assistant, and I have obtained the CELT-P (Certificate in English Language Teaching – Primary) qualification. I became interested in pursuing opportunities related to Mandarin instruction and subsequently began working as a part-time Chinese teacher.

I am passionate about teaching Mandarin and currently teach on a Hong Kong-based language platform and at the Jeremy E. Watson Educational Center, Inc., in Miami, FL, where most of my students are Westerners. I have also coached a high school headmaster face-to-face in Beijing.

During the most recent Christmas holiday, I provided after-school Mandarin tutoring in Thailand for the American charity Baan SuFan (Home of Destiny). I have completed a total of 300 hours of Mandarin instruction.
