As an educator, I am patient and empathetic in my teaching. My strategies are inquiry-based, interactive, engaging and practical application. I prioritize the safety of my learners. I believe that every child is born with a unique talent and it is my responsibility to nurture these gifts and develop them. I approach a lively classroom through dramatizing, enlivening with songs, experiential learning, brainstorming, quizzes, presentation to mention but a few. I want to be remembered as that teacher who made a positive difference in the lives of my learners by making learning memorable and free of phobia. In my teaching experience, I have been able to transform the learner who seemed to be taken aback in learning to becoming a super-dooper-doo student or pupil.
This is my heartfelt desire to maximize the potential in the lives of all my learners. I had integrated learners with autism in my classroom and ensured that they were not left out in class activities. I would love to include that I am passionate about children. For me, teaching and safety doesn't just happen in the school environment, it happens while passing by on the street and I find kids with safety hazards like knife, nails or trying to cross the express way on their own, the teacher in me subconsciously or consciously responds to correcting or reprimanding in love and assisting them with crossing the road. I had volunteered to teach kids with bad handwriting , the Nelson handwriting, phonics with a tremendous remark on their writing, reading skills and overall learning. This gives me joy as an educator.
