The style is very much tailored to the student’s preferred method of learning. This can range from conversational-based activities to more written and focused tasks. All of my lessons will always be very interactive to ensure that the student feels engaged. I very much like to gain an understanding of each student’s interest so that I can find ways to incorporate their personal pastimes into the lessons. Furthermore, I believe it is important to determine from the outset what the student‘s goals are and then build a course plan from there. Whilst I believe it is important to take lessons seriously, I understand that students need to feel relax and welcomed in order to achieve the best results.

I have a lot of experience in the field of languages, as not only am I a native English speaker, but I also maintain strong levels of French and Spanish. My linguistic skills enabled me to begin tutoring French and Spanish from early as 16, therefore I have a lot of experience teaching all three languages from beginner levels, all the way to IB/A-Levels. Equally, I spent two months teaching English in rural Cambodia. In Cambodia, I was fortunate enough to experience a diverse range of students; each with varying English levels. I taught students from as young as two, all the way to adults. Furthermore, I was privileged with the opportunity to conduct one-on-one lessons with the school’s translator where I was able to focus on refining their already outstanding English skills. Finally, should a student need in their wish to study at a British or American university, I have ample experience in both areas (having been accepted to 5/5 of British universities, and 15 American colleges), therefore I would be more than happy to assist students in their application process and help them gain a stronger understanding of how the different systems work.
