My lessons are designed to be highly engaging, interactive, and tailored to each student’s individual learning style and needs. I focus on creating a supportive and motivating environment where students feel confident to ask questions, make mistakes, and develop their understanding at their own pace. Each lesson combines a variety of teaching methods, including visual aids, worked examples, interactive problem-solving, and real-life applications, which help students grasp complex GCSE Maths concepts in a way that makes sense to them. I place particular emphasis on breaking down difficult topics into manageable steps, ensuring that every student can follow along and build a strong foundation in key areas such as algebra, geometry, statistics, and number work.
I have over a year of experience teaching GCSE Maths, especially to resit students, which means I understand the unique challenges that some learners face and can adapt lessons accordingly. I also have access to resources for all exam boards, allowing me to prepare students specifically for their own exams and provide relevant practice questions and revision strategies. My lessons often include a mix of discussion, hands-on activities, timed practice, and exam-style questions to develop both knowledge and confidence.
