My lessons offer a comprehensive exploration of contemporary art, artistic techniques, and art history, designed to inspire curiosity and creativity in learners of all abilities. I have experience delivering workshops both online and in-person, including sessions at the V&A Museum, where I facilitated projects encouraging participants to engage critically and creatively with artworks and collections.
Each session blends practical art-making with discussion, reflection, and a sense of fun. Students have the opportunity to experiment with a variety of media and techniques (from drawing, painting, and sculpture to mixed-media and digital art) while also exploring the historical and cultural contexts that inform artistic practice. I incorporate artists from around the world as inspiration, encouraging students to research and learn from diverse perspectives, styles, and cultural approaches to art. I guide learners in making connections between contemporary ideas and traditional techniques, helping them understand art not just as a craft, but as a way of seeing and interpreting the world.
I structure my lessons to be interactive and adaptable, combining demonstrations, hands-on practice, group discussion, and guided analysis of artworks. This approach ensures students develop both technical skills and critical thinking abilities, while also fostering personal expression, confidence, and enjoyment in the creative process.
I place strong emphasis on creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment, where students feel comfortable taking creative risks, sharing ideas, and having fun while exploring art. My lessons are suitable for anyone interested in expanding their artistic knowledge, experimenting with new forms, or gaining insight into art history and contemporary practice. Ultimately, my goal is to cultivate curiosity, skill, enjoyment, and a deeper appreciation for the richness and diversity of artistic expression.
