As a medical student, I’m confident in adapting my lessons, using visuals, questions, and real-life examples to keep students engaged. I make lessons clear and simple, helping students understand and remember key ideas.
Depending on what we are studying, my lessons will mostly be going through questions on topics found difficult and talking through whatever the student has struggled with. I will occasionally do some exam style sessions to see what topics we have to work on more and will constantly consolidate learning.
I have had some official tutoring experience teaching students maths and English at primary school level. I did however do a lot of unofficial teaching of classmates in school at both GCSE and A level levels. I am good at adapting lessons to the student and making sure they feel comfortable in the environment; often checking in to see how I can improve the lessons to suit the students needs.
In terms of official qualifications, I have achieved A*A*AA in my a levels (Art, Biology, Maths and Chemistry respectively) and 10 9's in GCSEs (including Maths, English Language and Literature, Chemistry, Biology and Physics)
