My lessons and coaching sessions are relaxed, supportive and tailored to the individual. I believe people learn and develop best when they feel listened to, encouraged and able to explore ideas without fear of getting things wrong.
Sessions are interactive and conversational, combining practical activities, discussion, reflection and creative exploration. I adapt the pace, content and approach to suit your needs, whether you are developing a particular skill, exploring your creativity, building confidence or working towards a specific goal.
I bring over 25 years’ experience across education, arts, museums, heritage and community engagement, including teaching Art and Design and leading learning and participation programmes at Manchester Museum, University of Manchester. I am also a fully qualified professional Co-Active Coach, bringing coaching approaches that help you identify what matters to you, recognise your strengths and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Depending on your goals, sessions might include creative exercises, questioning and reflection, practical challenges, feedback, goal-setting or simply space to think things through. I aim to create a genuine partnership where you remain at the centre of the learning process.
Above all, my sessions are designed to be purposeful, encouraging and enjoyable. Whether you are learning something new, developing your creative practice or looking for support to make a change, I will work with you to make each session meaningful and relevant to you.
