My lessons are structured, interactive, and fully tailored to each student’s academic level and objectives. At the start, I assess the student’s syllabus, strengths, and areas needing improvement, whether they are studying A-level Law, an LLB, or preparing for professional exams. Each session follows a clear format: explanation of key legal principles, analysis of leading cases and statutes, and guided application through problem questions or essay planning.

I focus strongly on exam technique and legal reasoning. Students are shown how to identify issues quickly, apply the law accurately, and structure answers in a way examiners expect. Complex topics are broken down into clear, logical steps using diagrams, case summaries, and real-world examples drawn from my experience as a senior government lawyer. This practical insight helps students understand not only what the law is, but how it operates in practice.

Lessons are highly interactive. Students are encouraged to ask questions, test their understanding, and develop confidence in legal discussion. I provide targeted feedback during and after lessons, including model answers, revision strategies, and personalised improvement plans. Where needed, I also support students with legal writing, coursework, dissertation planning, and research skills.

With over ten years of legal practice, visiting lecturing experience, and current PhD research, I bring both academic rigour and real-world relevance to every lesson. My aim is to make law clear, engaging, and achievable—helping students improve grades, build confidence, and succeed in their legal studies.
