I teach one to one and online, an hour by default, longer where the material demands it.

My work sits in two places that look unrelated and are not. I run a depth psychology framework, design its training, and mentor the practitioners who use it. I also build and maintain technical platforms, which has given me a clear thinking systems approach. I completed 2400 lessons through the Italki teaching platform where I offered students any subject to explore while developing language studies.

Lessons are conversations with a text or a problem in front of us. You bring what you are stuck on. I define terms precisely, place ideas in their
own history rather than in a summary of it, and then we test them against material you care about. I would rather you leave with one distinction that does real work than with six you can recite. Where something is genuinely contested, I will tell you it is contested and show you the argument
instead of handing you a verdict.

I came to theory through practice rather than the reverse, and that shapes how I teach. I am currently writing a book on imaginal practice, so
this material passes through my hands daily. I am also a working developer, so the same is true of the technical subjects. I only teach areas that I am personally interested in and continuously exploring.

Most of my students are adults reading seriously without a department to ask, postgraduates who find their modules thin in the places that matter, practitioners wanting a theoretical spine under their work, and writers who need ideas to hold weight on the page. I also work with people who simply became curious about something and want a companion for it.

No prior background is required for any of my subjects. A willingness to read slowly and be corrected is worth more than a first degree, and I have
taught people with both.
