Wai-Fu (Benny) Mok

Hi there! This is Benny Mok, & I’m (thrilled to bits, dancing in the streets & on Cloud Nine) to welcome you to my informative English lessons here on Findtutors!

I was born and raised in HONG KONG & having been teaching in some HK high schools & adult educational institutions after finishing my pronunciation course (with North American accent training) & got a Bachelor’s degree from Canada!

I also run an educational YOUTUBE channel called “Learn English (from mistakes) With Benny Mok”— where I help learners around the world improve their English by understanding & correcting the most common errors!

My lessons are practical, interactive and learner centred. I believe that making mistakes is part of learning and I use every opportunity to turn those mistakes into breakthroughs by breaking down the common errors with detailed corrections!

In my lessons, I’ll focus on real communication and I’ll correct your mistakes in a gentle supportive and inspiring manner! I’ll keep the lessons relaxed but focused and I’ll always encourage you to speak as much as possible because that’s how confidence grows!

Depending on your goals—whether it’s speaking fluently, sounding more natural & correctly or preparing for an exam like SELT from B1 to B2 levels or interviews, I tailor each lesson to meet your needs!

I’ve helped learners from all levels from beginners to advanced and from different countries and backgrounds! Most of my students have told me that my clear explanations and friendly approach made a big difference in their progress!
