With A* grades in both A-Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, and as a current student at the London School of Economics (LSE), I bring both high-level subject mastery and a deep understanding of competitive exam technique to my tutoring sessions. My teaching style is structured yet adaptive, patient and encouraging, because I believe every student can succeed with the right support and teaching. I begin by identifying gaps in foundational knowledge—because a weak grasp of GCSE algebra will inevitably break an A-Level calculus question—then build systematic problem-solving strategies rather than encouraging rote memorisation. For GCSE students, I focus on demystifying exam command words and eliminating careless errors under timed conditions. For A-Level students studying single or further maths, I emphasise proof techniques, tricky A* question patterns, and how to connect pure maths with applied topics like mechanics or statistics. Above all, my lessons are interactive and confidence-driven. You won't find me lecturing for an hour; instead, we'll work through problems together, with you doing the heavy lifting while I guide your reasoning, offer live feedback, and assign targeted follow-up practice. I also create a supportive environment where no question feels silly—because the best mathematicians are the ones unafraid to ask "why." Currently based in London and studying at LSE, I know the pressure of high-stakes exams firsthand and can show you how to approach them calmly and strategically. Whether you are aiming for a grade 5 or an A*, my goal is to make maths feel logical, manageable, and even rewarding.
