I'm currently working as an English language teacher at Private Utopia Schools in Istanbul,teaching 5th,6th,7th and 8th grade students the fundamentals of English.
I also teach my B1 Level students Creative Writing in English which is a great way for them to put their imaginations down on paper.
My role at Utopya consists of preparing Weekly Lesson Plans based on monthly topics such as, The Universe, Architecture, The Human Body or The Environment, communicating directly with parents about lesson structure, completing semester report cards and issuing assessments. The levels of my students vary from A2 to B2.
Student's assignments are logged and tracked on Google Classroom where student's ongoing performance can be monitored.
Homework using the Cambridge Grammar & Writing Guides is also logged on the classroom. For School Workshop I also ran Football Classes on Friday afternoons.
