After my 15 years of experience, I have developed five approaches to learning- thinking, social, communication, self-management, and research skills which I employ to enrich classroom experiences.
I strive to create a safe space in my classroom where learners are free to try out things that will eventually guide them toward taking the risk of learning the concepts and content intended. Learners are free to ask questions, present their knowledge, receive feedback, and literally attain that belief that they can do anything.

I plan my lessons to enable them to be just that by creating scenarios that will build a sense of community in their work. I strive to develop communication skills by requiring that they present their results effectively and coherently and even defend their approaches without feeling cornered.
I would like my learners to be ready with the mathematical skills and technological knowledge to assist them solve problems.

I also allow learners to discover what they need to learn through guidance some of the time. This enables them to solve problems as if it is in the real world, employ critical thinking, communicate their results, and engage others in defense of their different approaches to solving problems.

I strongly use and encourage the use of the environment to spur a discussion about how it can be made better and then mathematically embark on finding appropriate models that can actually work. I also plan and strongly encourage and ensure learners embrace integrity in their research work and other assignments.
