As your tutor, I would start the lessons by discussing your strengths in maths, what you find comes more naturally than other aspects of maths, and building a foundation of knowledge of what you know, do not know, should know and would like to know - theres always something for everyone in maths. Depending on where you struggle more (such as recall, key concepts, etc), we would work together to best utilise the sessions for you, whether it be I reteach more challenging ideas, help build a revision plan or schedule for you, or just listen to your explanations of problems or methods so we can figure out whats working and where to focus more attention to. My personal strengths are listening, simplifying and organising, so if you find yourself to be someone who wants to know the "why"s or "how"s in maths, or wants to make sense of the madness, then I think I am a good tutor for you. I can also recommend online resources, available to access online and free, that I used during my maths exams if I find you should use or would like them. Overall, I wish to make the most out of the sessions and personalise them to you so you can learn and enjoy maths as much as I do.
