My English lessons for nursery and primary-aged children are all about making learning fun, engaging, covering all age-appropriate topics in English education. With younger children ages 3 to 5, I keep things short and playful, and teach English through songs, reading colourful stories together, playing word games, and use puppets or toys to help them learn simple words and phrases. At this age, it’s all about building confidence with listening and speaking through repetition and lots of encouragement. For primary-aged children 6 to 11, the lessons are a bit longer and more structured, but still very interactive. I include a mix of speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities, using topics that interest them like animals, food, or seasons. We might act out short dialogues, play vocabulary games, work on simple grammar, or even do little creative projects. I always make sure to adapt to each child’s pace and learning style, and I like to keep things positive, relaxed, and fun. That way, they're learning and their confidence is growing and they find joy in learning new areas of English.
I’ve got several years of experience teaching English to kids in-person through family and friends and I have also home educated my youngest child full time and eldest child part time, and I genuinely love helping them grow in confidence and language skills. Whether your child is just tipping their toes into education or you want my skills to help to build on what they already know, my lessons are designed to make English enjoyable and accessible.
