I'm a tutor and communication coach with over 13 years of experience in the education sector and 16 years of experience in the performing arts industry. I'm a tutor and communication coach with over 13 years of experience in the education sector and 16 years of experience in the performing arts industry. I teach teenagers and adults across Key Stage 4, Sixth Form/College, and Higher Education, creating a safe and encouraging environment where students stay motivated, build independence, and achieve their goals both in their academic journey and future professional lives.

My work focuses on supporting students with essays, homework, English communication and ESL, speech, presentations, interviews, research skills, academic writing, as well as university and job applications.

I bring a strong foundation in communication and public speaking coaching, using techniques from acting and voice technique. As a student coach, I also support learners with study organisation, time management, effective study planning, and the development of soft and transferable skills. I guide students through key transitions — from school to further education, and from further education to higher education — helping them build resilience, independence, and an understanding of expectations such as British academic values.

In my educational roles, I have:

- Improved student retention and engagement across UAL - Performing Arts cohorts, supporting course continuity and completion
- Supported learner progression into Higher Education, youth theatre placements, and professional employment
- Increased confidence, self-expression, and personal growth through inclusive and collaborative learning environments
- Embedded industry-aligned practices and professional communication skills, raising performance standards and learner readiness
- Strengthened student resilience, independence, and wellbeing through personalised, student-centred approaches

My lessons are practical, personalised, and focused on helping students feel more confident, improve their results, and stay motivated and engaged in their learning, while expressing themselves clearly. I believe that each student is unique, and that real progress does not come from rigid formulas or “one-size-fits-all” approaches, but from helping each individual connect with their own voice, strengths, and way of expressing themselves. My goal is to create a supportive space where students feel seen, confident, and able to grow.
