Hello, future scientists! I'm so excited to tell you about what our online science lessons are like.
First, you'll find that my lessons are super interactive and engaging. We use tools like Zoom to connect, and I love to make science come alive using fun gamification websites like Quizizz, Kahoot, and Blooket. This means you'll be actively participating, solving puzzles, and competing in friendly quizzes!
The content of our lessons focuses on Science and Discovery for students in grades and 4. We'll explore exciting topics, conduct virtual "experiments" (sometimes with things you can find around your house!), and uncover the wonders of the world around us. My goal is to make learning science not just informative, but also really fun and memorable.
As for my experience, I've been teaching elementary science for six years! I've worked in traditional schools like Sanit Fatima Language Nasr City School and Sunrise American School for several years, and since 2024, I've been teaching online as a Science and Discover teacher at No School Academy. I also have a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Computer Science, so I bring a strong scientific background to our class. I'm also really comfortable with technology, using programs like OBS and creating engaging presentations with PowerPoint and Adobe Premiere Pro to make our lessons dynamic and clear.
