Venkatram Balagopal

Hi everyone! My name is Venkat, but you can call me Venk if you find my name difficult to pronounce.

I have completed my Master’s Degree in Management at the University of Dundee in Scotland, and I also have a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering. I have more than five years of professional experience, working in both Data Analysis and Project Management.

I’m here to help you improve your English speaking and listening skills and, most importantly, become more confident when communicating in English.

I strongly believe that one of the best ways to learn a language and become fluent is through regular conversation and interaction with others. Speaking with someone in a relaxed and supportive environment can make a huge difference.

I remember that some of my classmates at the University of Dundee were quite shy or lacked confidence when speaking English. Because of this, they sometimes avoided socialising with other students and felt left out of group activities. I understand how difficult it can feel when you’re worried about making mistakes or being judged.

That’s why I want to create a comfortable and friendly environment where you can practise English without feeling nervous.

During our lessons, we can have casual, one-on-one conversations about everyday life, work, travel, hobbies, or anything you’re interested in. And please don’t worry about making mistakes! Mistakes are a natural and important part of learning. I’ll gently correct you and explain how you can improve, so you can gradually become more confident and comfortable speaking English.

If you have something specific you would like to learn, such as grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, or English for everyday conversations, I’d also be more than happy to help you with that.

So, if you’re looking for a friendly and relaxed way to practise English and build your confidence, I’d love to meet you and have a conversation.

Thank you for watching, and I hope to see you in one of my lessons soon!
