I use a range of example questions and YouTube videos to explain concepts, along with demonstrations, then create scenarios in which the concept is applied and work with my students to help them identify key markers and areas of the concept's application. I then show how it comes up in exams and questions and work with my students to tailor a method that produces the best results for them and helps them to answer as best as they can and as quickly as they can in an exam setting. I believe that the key to having knowledge and successfully demonstrating that knowledge is having a deep rooted understanding of any concepts and topics, so I will always ensure that the students are actually learning to problem solve and not just memorising something in the short term only to forget it later.

I have 4 years of tutoring experience, primarily at the 11+ and GCSE level with 2 years of experience tutoring A level content. I am currently entering my 3rd year of university, studying Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Southampton. I achieved eight 9s, one 8, one 7, and an A in Add maths AS level at GCSEs, and at A level I got an A* in Economics, an A in Maths and in Physics, and a B in Classical Civilisations. My background is primarily STEM based and so I am able to tutor Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths and Economics at the GCSE level and I can also tutor A Level Maths, Physics and Economics.
