I think mathematics is a fascinating subject and is quite fun once you crack the logic and patterns behind it. My lessons are very on hand where we solve problem sets together. I start with the theory and with explaining concepts and then move to show an example of how to solve a certain type of problem. Once I'm through with the example, I give the student a chance to solve a similar problem and then we discuss mistakes and alternative methods. We do this over and over again a couple of times with small variations in the question.
I understand that different students learn differently, and am very open to discuss what learning style suits them. I do emphasise on practice and trying to solve by yourself as it the only way hone your skill. I can design problem sets for homework or we can tackle already existing problem sets as well.
