Vasilisa Sokolova

I am a Year 13 student studying A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, with plans to study Mathematics at university. Having recently completed my A Level Mathematics exam and continuing with Further Mathematics, I have a strong understanding of GCSE and A Level maths and know the challenges students face. I have a strong foundation of helping my classmates and mentoring younger students as well as volunteering in helping ages 5-10 with maths homework.

My lessons are aimed at KS2, KS3 and GCSE students. I am happy to offer both online and in person lessons. (I am based in Brighton but happy to travel). Feel free to ask for advice with homework, difficult topics or general maths skills. This summer is a great opportunity to continue improving your maths skills to secure a strong start to a new school year.

I aim to build confidence by explaining difficult concepts clearly, breaking problems into manageable steps and practicing exam-style questions. What ever your aims are I will adapt each lesson to help you achieve your goals.


As a recent student myself, I understand the current specifications and effective revision techniques. My aim is to make maths enjoyable, build confidence and help students reach their full potential.
