Dear student,

My name is Van Long Nguyen, though you’re welcome to call me Long. I was born and raised in Da Nang, Vietnam, a vibrant coastal city known for its stunning bridges and central location in the country. Eight years ago, I began my journey of learning English with no prior knowledge of the language. Through dedication and effort, I earned my ESL (English as a Second Language) certificate after six years, an achievement that has inspired me to assist others in their educational paths.

Currently, I am a part-time student at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where I study art and design. This creative pursuit enhances my teaching, allowing me to bring a fresh and engaging perspective to the classroom. In addition to my studies, I serve as an art and design tutor at SCAD and provide private tutoring, fostering a supportive and collaborative learning environment.
