Here are some methods I have found to be effective

Communicative Language Teaching: This approach focuses on using English in real-life situations and emphasizes the development of communication skills. Teachers encourage students to speak and write in English as much as possible, and lessons often involve activities such as role-plays, discussions, and simulations.

Task-Based Learning: This method involves designing lessons around real-world tasks that students might need to perform in English, such as writing a letter, ordering food in a restaurant, or making a presentation. The focus is on developing both language skills and the ability to use those skills to accomplish practical tasks.

Total Physical Response (TPR): This approach involves using physical movement and actions to help students learn and remember new vocabulary and grammar. For example, the teacher might ask students to stand up and perform an action whenever they hear a certain word or phrase.

The Silent Way: This method emphasizes the use of visual aids and physical objects to help students learn new words and grammar structures. The teacher speaks as little as possible, allowing students to discover the language for themselves through observation and experimentation.

Grammar-Translation: This traditional method involves a focus on grammar rules and translating texts from one language to another. While it is less popular than it used to be, it can still be useful for students who need to develop strong writing and reading skills.
