Vaijayanti Drumm Drumm

I have worked in mental health, social care and education for over 30 years. My career began in forensic psychiatry in a medium secure unit in London. I have worked with a variety of client groups including adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities, Autistic Spectrum Conditions, as well as those with severe and enduring mental health problems. Having worked as a Mental Health Social Worker for eight years, I decided to change my career path use my previous teaching qualification and work as a lecturer. However, my love of working in Mental Health eventually led me back to the fantastic (and much needed) opportunity to develop the post of Mental Health Coordinator for my local Further Education College.
Trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Behavioural Family Therapy, I also have my teaching qualification as well has a degree in Psychology. For the past 13 years, as well as running my own training company, I have been an Associate Trainer for Mind which enabled me to deliver face to face training globally! I am passionate about using my education and experience to empower, support and help others.
