Usman Akram

I am a CELTA-qualified English language teacher with experience teaching both online and in-person lessons. During my CELTA training, I taught students from different backgrounds and language levels, developing lesson plans that focused on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. This experience helped me learn how to create engaging, student-centred lessons that meet individual learning needs.

In addition to my CELTA teaching practice, I have worked in primary schools, where I supported children’s learning and development in a classroom environment. This experience strengthened my communication, organisation, and classroom management skills and enabled me to work effectively with young learners.

My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and adaptable. I believe that students learn best when they feel comfortable and confident, so I create a positive learning environment where mistakes are seen as part of the learning process. I tailor lessons to each student’s goals, whether they are improving conversational English, preparing for exams, developing academic skills, or building confidence in everyday communication.

My key qualities include patience, reliability, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for helping students achieve their full potential.

I am committed to continuous professional development and always look for ways to improve my teaching practice. I enjoy working with students from different backgrounds and helping them overcome challenges in their learning journey. My aim is to make lessons engaging, practical, and relevant to real-life situations, enabling students to develop their language skills with confidence. I take pride in building positive relationships with learners and celebrating their progress and achievements.
