Umesha Premachandra Premachandra

I have two and a half years of experience working as a teaching assistant for a primary school, and
secondary school-aged children in the UK and Sri Lanka, and I am hoping to continue to develop my
skills further and progress in my career.
I have a special insight into conditions such as dyslexia, autism, and Asperger’s syndrome, as well
as other learning disabilities and physical disabilities. Moreover, I can handle a diverse range of
learner needs and welcome any challenges I have faced in the past. I have worked alongside
teachers and parents to accommodate the individual needs of SEN learners.
I have also developed excellent interpersonal skills, patience, understanding, and the ability to stay
calm under pressure. I believe I would be a great asset to any organization due to my past
experiences working with children and alongside teachers in a school environment. I hope to
utilize my extensive knowledge of child development to foster a positive learning environment. I am
deeply devoted to education, and I am prepared to do whatever is necessary to provide the best
learning experience to every pupil I work with.
