My lessons are friendly, flexible, and designed to make maths make sense, whether you're in KS3 or preparing for your GCSEs. I focus on creating a calm, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring topics at their own pace.
Each lesson typically begins with a quick review or warm-up activity to check understanding and boost confidence. From there, I introduce new concepts using clear explanations, visuals, real-world examples, and exam-style questions. I adapt my teaching style depending on how you learn best, whether that’s through practice, discussion, or seeing things broken down step by step.
If you're in KS3, lessons are focused on building strong foundations and logical thinking. For GCSE students, we dive deeper into topic mastery, exam strategies, and past paper questions (tailored to your exam board: Edexcel, AQA, or OCR). We finish each session with a short recap and key points summary to make sure everything sticks.
My experience includes working as a GCSE Maths Teacher Assistant and Cover Teacher at Gulf English School, as well as tutoring students one-to-one both online and in person. I’ve helped students across different ability levels, including bilingual learners, and regularly teach in both English and Arabic.
Ultimately, my goal is to help you understand maths, not just memorise it. I’ll guide you step by step, challenge you where needed, and help you build the confidence to tackle any question. Let's make progress, together.
