I studied English Language and Literature at A level. I currently analyse media on my socials and have gained a following doing so very rapidly.

How I will teach a student depends on their age and whether they’re doing exams or not, or if they are trying to learn English.

For students doing GCSE’s:
I will support your learning based on your exam board. I will show you how to effectively analyse the text you are reading. I will help you understand the themes of your book. I will also support creative writing development, with bettering your use of vocabulary and punctuation, helping you achieve the highest marks.

For younger children under 12:
I will support your understanding of media and text. I will focus on developing your literacy skills based on your reading ability. I will quiz you on the first lesson to understand what your level is and work with you to improve. I will encourage your creativity, your understanding of language and support your reading.

For anyone who isn’t doing GCSE’s or any sort of exam:
I will work on your literacy skills, expand your vocabulary and help you read in between the lines. We will look at different media.

For anyone learning English that isn’t fluent:
My lessons will entirely be in English. I can make adjustments to my lessons or teach in English. For Spanish speakers, it will be significantly easier for me to make these adjustments. I can support your understanding of English by learning up to 100 new words each day and their meaning.

I support anyone doing SATS or GCSE’s or similar.
