My maths lessons are structured yet flexible, adapting to each student's age, goals and learning style. For infant and nursery children, I use games, colourful visuals and everyday objects (toys, snacks, fingers) to build number sense and shape recognition making maths feel like play. With primary school pupils, I focus on confidence in times tables, fractions, decimals and word problems, using step by step explanations and positive reinforcement.

For secondary school, GCSE and A level students, I break down complex topics (algebra, trigonometry, calculus, statistics) into manageable chunks. I teach exam techniques, past paper practice and time management so students enter exams feeling prepared. I also help with homework catch up and revision planning.

At university and adult level, I can support pure and applied maths, statistics or quantitative methods whether you're studying economics, engineering, data science or just need a refresher before a professional exam. For companies, I design practical workshops on data analysis, financial maths or problem solving with real business examples.

I have a patient, encouraging approach. I believe anyone can learn maths with the right teacher. I use a mix of explanation, guided practice and independent problem solving. Lessons will be online (with screen sharing and interactive whiteboards). I also offer a free 15 minute chat to understand your needs before the first session.
