Greeting: Establishing a rapport right at the beginning of the session.

Outline of lesson: outline of how I plan on structuring my time with the student and what learning goals i’d like to accomplish. At this stage I welcome thoughts on any areas the student would like to cover if absent from my plan.

Presentation and discussion of topic/s:
In this stage I can incorporate games, role plays, mindmaps, videos, podcasts, and listening exercises which will put my student’s knowledge to the test.

Conclusion: reviewing the main points discussed and the difficulties encountered by the student if any. Refer the student to interesting websites that will provide practice tests and/or games that will enable them to reinforce their understanding of the concepts learned during the tutoring session.
