Tony Coleman

Hi, I’m Tony! I’m a friendly, experienced English teacher offering private lessons online and in person in Willesden and the surrounding areas.

I have a BA (Hons) in English from Oxford Brookes University and a Trinity CertTESOL teaching qualification. Since 2023, I’ve taught at the English Language Centre in Brighton. I’ve also worked in Japan and Mexico and spent five years teaching online, helping students of different ages, nationalities and levels.

Whether you want to feel more confident speaking, improve your English for work or prepare for an exam, I’ll plan our lessons around your goals and interests. I can help with:

- Everyday English and conversation
- Grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation
- Business English and workplace communication
- IELTS and TOEIC preparation
- Reading, writing and listening skills

My lessons are relaxed, practical and encouraging, with plenty of opportunities to speak and clear feedback to help you improve. Having lived abroad myself, I understand how challenging it can feel to communicate in another language.

I teach adults and teenagers, from beginners to advanced learners. Send me a message with a little about your goals and availability, and we can discuss lessons that work for you!
